After taking countless tests and studying from many day to night, I finally got into a ideal college, and also achieved the goal when I was a senior high school student. And..? What's next?
Some people might think that goal and dream is the same thing; however, I think goal is more actual than dream. Nowadays, people always ask students and adults what their goal is, but not ask what's their dream. It seems that only when we are a child, people will ask what's our dream. Whether it means that when we are grow up, what we need to do is achieve our goals and dream means nothing.
As time goes, I also become an adult, and I know that we can't rely on dream. Although there is a sentence says that our future depends on our dreams, I think it half wrong and half right. Without goals, we may live for nothing, but without dreams, we may be nothing. Sometimes, it is hard to us to choose dream or goal because we don't know if we can handle both of them.
In fact, I think there is something can be dream or goal - Do not become the person I don't appreciate and it is my first goal and dream. I know it can't be prevent that we will gradually become same kind of people that what the society expect. It is hard to say whether I will become that kind of person in the future, I hope that I can realize the first goal and dream.
We used to have a lot of dream while we were in a very young age. Some want to be super stars, others want to be heroes, astronauts, scientists and etc. But we lost our abilities to dream and to fulfill our dreams somehow when we gradually grow up.
回覆刪除I knew a lot of colleague students who don't even know why they chose to get in their departments. Some said that because their departments show promise. Others said they were told by their parents to do so. Lives makes us become practical-it's sad but true.
